3rd Dads Club Work Day
Thanks again to all the Dads that converged on Frostwood on a hot August day to get the school looking its best for the first day of school.
32 dads came out, put some blood, sweat, and tears into making the front entrance of the school look great. We also mulched trees along Memorial Drive, Plantation, and Gessner. We put new basketball nets on the hardtop, fixed the sand box on the track, and cleaned the playground.
The Dads also tamed the Prairie and spruced up the Orchard.
The school is looking as good as new and ready for another year of students, parents, teachers and staff. Thanks to Principal Pennington and Mr. Jessie for coming out, helping, and opening up the school for us. Also, a big shout out to Jeff Halper of Exterior Worlds Landscaping for designing the landscaping by the entrance and to Tree Source Wholesale Nursery for delivering the plant materials.
This was another successful event of the Frostwood Dad’s Club to help make Frostwood the best elementary school in the region.
Go Tigers!
Thanks, Groundskeeper!
